Natural Gemstones and their spiritual properties

The Universe has provided us with a large number of tools to use in healing ourselves on every level, in keeping our minds clear and active, in balancing the energies within us.  Stones, nurtured and nestled within Mother Gaia have absorbed the power of her energies and thus have vital healing powers.  They have been used as talismans and amulets and to heal many types of ailments for centuries. The ancient and highly spiritual civilizations in India, Greece, Egypt, the aborigines of Australia, the Native Americans and many more, have used these natural stones in jewellery, healing rituals, having understood and recorded their amazing properties. A lot of that information has been lost over time, but nowadays, there are an amazing number of people who are channeling the properties of these beautiful offerings of Mother Gaia.

I have given a brief description of the stones here, but my recommendation to anyone interested in learning about the properties of natural stones would be to refer to “The Crystal Bible” by Judy Hall.  She has been responsible for awakening my interest in crystals and stones. Very often, I have someone asking me to recommend a stone for a particular problem they are facing.  Every time I have intuitively handed a stone to someone asking for healing, I have been amazed at the accuracy of the description of the stone given in the book with relation to the problem.  My heartfelt gratitude to Judy Hall for this wonderful book, which has brought so much knowledge and a deep love of stones into my life.
