The meaning of the word "MIRANUM "
Recently, I was asked [actually I am constantly being asked ;-)] what the name of my company Miranum Designs stands for. When I first started thinking about starting up a spiritual jewellery "business", I was told by family and friends that it should have a name that is spiritual, but that it should also sound "metal-ish" to denote the fact that it is jewellery that is being offered. So I meditated on the name ....... yes, I actually did!! that's what I do... I'm a Reiki Master and I do a lot of meditation on a lot of topics ....... Anyway, the name Mira-num kept popping into my mind, again and again. So, when I came out of my meditation, I went online and searched out what that name meant. To my utter delight, I found [on one of th{mosimage}ose translation sites] that the word "Mira" means "reflection" in French.And "Namah" in Sanskrit means "salutations". Okay, so I understood the meaning of the breakup of the word. But where did that fit into the jewellery that I had begun to design? The answer that was "given" to me was so beautiful........ the interpretation of the word Miranum would mean " I salute the Reflection of the Divine within every Human Being" !!!! And believe me, even now, whenever I say that word, the image that pops into my head is of me bowing my head with hands folded as in prayer to all of Humanity, the Reflections of the Divine !!
So..... MIRANUM to you, my friends.
